Philly Awards
Entry Forms Now Available - 6th Annual Philly Awards



The Philly Awards are the premier event honoring excellence in nonprofit communications.
On December 11, awards will be given in eleven categories. Submit your entries by August 29
.

  • Descriptions of each award category are provided on the entry form. You may enter a piece in more than one category.

    First and second place awards are given in each category and organizational budget size (less and more than $1 million) so Organizations of all sizes have the opportunity to be recognized. An overall Best in Show award will also be given.

    Completed Submission Packet Includes the Following:

    1. Download the submission form, save it as a new Word document and complete the gray boxes.

    2. Print 4 copies of the completed registration form and attach each one to a copy of the entry.

    Entries should be submitted as “hard copies.” For video presentations, a DVD copy is preferred. If entry is only available electronically, provide the following:
  • Web site entries – the Web address (URL) that will link directly to the home page being submitted as the entry.
  • Electronic newsletters and all other electronic entries - Website address or a link to the electronic version of your submission.


  • 3. To each of the 4 copies of the entry attach a project summary (no more than one page) which contains the following information:
  • Objective of the project and relationship to objectives of the organization
  • Description of target audience
  • List of individuals or agencies involved in the project and brief explanation of their roles


  • 4. Include a check or submit a copy of your credit-card payment. (A link to pay by credit card is included on the entry form.) Entry fees are:
  • Council on Philanthropy members: $30 first entry, $25 subsequent entries
  • Non-members: $40 first entry, $30 subsequent entries


  • Your properly completed submission package (outlined above) must be post-marked or dropped off prior to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2008. Mailing and delivery addresses are listed on the submission form.
