YNPNkc Mentoring Program In collaboration with the Council, YNPNkc has created a program to facilitate mentoring relationships between established and emerging leaders in order to provide education in skill and leadership development, as well as guidance in defining or redefining personal goals and objectives to strengthen a career in the non-profit sector.
For a six month time period, if you would like to be paired with a mentor, or if you are interested in serving as a mentor for a next-generation leader, download and return your application to Amy Mulligan Kennedy at education@kcphilnet.org by Friday, May 30. Mentor/Mentee pairings will be made in June (for a July-December match). A kick-off event will be held on July 8 (attendance is not required to be matched).
If you are interested in serving as a mentor for six months, download your application here for additional information. If you are interested in being a mentee for six months, download your application here for additional information.
The Council, Nonprofit Communications Network and CANBE Create Formal Alliance
On January 1, 2008, the Council, NCN and CANBE became one organization – an act approved by the Boards of all three organizations and approved by the members of NCN and CANBE. A formal alliance between the Council, NCN and CANBE will allow us to:
Cut administrative costs
Reduce duplication of services
Increase the reach of these important capacity-building organizations.
Individuals with current memberships in NCN or CANBE will automatically become members of the Council on Philanthropy. Learn more about the alliance.
